September

Well its September now!!!!!!
I turn 21 in 6 days. I am kinda excited about that! School is a little crazy fro me! I am taking 5 classes; Applied Foundation of Education, Educational Management of the Exceptional Child, ESOL Principles and Practice, Intro to the Exceptional Child and Survey of Normal/Abnormal Speech/language. All of these classes = lots of work. LOL!!
Anyway, I have been busy with that. This weekend is the youth car wash/bakesale/Woman's Yard sale @ my church. The next weekend is Rock the Universe and the following my birthday party.... Then I am hoping to go up to TN on the following weekend (26th). I am excited about that!

So it's 2am and what am I doing? I am writing in my blog of course.... lol!!
Lets see whats new if anything... I have been sleeping in till like 1pm for a few days now... however, that is because I am up till 4am talking to Mikel. (Yes, I know I am crazy.)

Carrie posted something on facebook that really got me thinking (I will add it at the end). What if I really did spend as much time reading God's word and take my bible everywhere like I do with my cell phone. I spend a lot of time talking to people on the phone, texting people.. and generally I do not go anywhere without my phone. That's how it should be with my bible and God. I should spend most of my time talking to him and reading his word.... Whereas somehow i manage to hit 10,000 (yes, 10,000) texts a month not to mention a whole lot of minutes spent talking on the phone. How is it that I can spend so much time talking to others and learning about them, yet I don't spend anywhere near that amount of time trying to get to know my savior more or even just talking with him.... I haven't even opened my bible in a month... This is sad.... :( I mean what is wrong with me that I don't spend time with the most important person in my life? My problem is somehow.... someone else/something else replaced God... Which is really not good... So how do I fix this? I make sure I spend time with my Prince, Jesus Christ, reading His word and talking to Him.

Cell phone bible challenge

Have you ever wondered what would happen if we treated our Biblelike we treat our cell phone?

What if we carried it around in our purses or pockets?

What if we flipped through it several times a day?

What if we turned back to go get it if we forgot it?

What if we used it to receive messages from the text?

What if we treated it like we couldn't live without it?

What if we gave it to our kids as gifts?

What if we used it when we traveled?

What if we used it in cases of emergency?

What if we cared as much about God's Word as we do our cell phone?

Well heres the challenge:

first bring your bible (just a littlepocket one) everywhere you bring your cell including the grocerystore bathroom

work EVERYWHERE

next everytime you get on the internetsing a praise song to the lord (loud enough for others to hear butyou dont have to shout) it doesnt matter where you are sing to ourlord

next anytime you make a phone call youare talking so after you are done talk to the lord for atleast aminute

when someone calls you, you arelistening. So everytime someone calls you just be quite and sit thereturn off your music and just listen to the lord

now the one I hate because it is hard.Every time you receive a text you must read the bible (I am chossing3 scriptures make sure you make a number for you and start)

everytime you send (AHHHHHHHH) 10messages you must share the love of jesus with someone else. Tellthem jesus loves them (not a friend like a total stranger or someonewho doesnt know you ar a christian)

Randomness

Well, I am home again from TN. I am actually on the phone with Mikel right now. I am helping the person I babysit move into her new house. It is a hugs house with 5 bedrooms, 4 bathroom, an pretty big kitchen and living room and also a pool. Tomorrow, I get to go help more which is good because I need the money. I am going to apply to work as a sub and also at the YMCA on the north end of town. Hopefully I will get one of the jobs, because I need all the money I can get because of having to pay for so much for the wedding and moving and such. Helping Stacey move was really weird for me because I was thinking that probably the next time I do that, I will be moving into a house/apartment of my own with my husband. Thats just weird to think about... I will be married... Really Really weird. lol! Yes, I know this but its still weird... lol! Anyway, I will try to write more later..

TN

Well, I am in Tennessee for possibly the last time for a long time. I hope I get to come up here one more time before my wedding but who knows. :( I have been going a little crazy doing things for the wedding and also just getting things done. I manged to some how make an A on all 4 of my summer classes. I am very happy about that!! I start class in 16days. Then I will be taking 15credit hrs. Plus planning a wedding. This is going to be a crazy next few months.... Anyway, this is all I have time to write latter hopefully I will write more.

moving... Mixed feeings..

I can't believe that in less than a year I will be living in Arizona with my husband. Its weird when people say next June or July we are going to do....... and I think that would be awesome and then i'm like wait, I wont be here :( . I am so excited about getting married!!! But, I am going to be so far away from everyone :( I have 10 months to spend with everyone before I go to AZ and I don't know when I will be back. Hopefully, it will be sometime soon after that... but who knows... I have lived in FL my whole life... This is going to be soooo different!! Anyway, that was random... Night!

Its been a while....

So, Its been a few weeks since I last posted. I have pretty much been sick now for
3 weeks straight on Friday. I had 4days of not being sick... I hate colds!! Anyway, lets see what has happened in the past few weeks. I helped with VBS @ Restoration Family Church (the church where I'm having my wedding @ :D). That was fun! I was Buddy barrel and I also did puppets and was in a short skit. I also helped with drawing and just making sure the kids did what they were supposed to. This was the last weekend in June. For independence day, I went down south to Mikel's aunt and uncles house for 3days. That was TONS of fun!! I have been really sick since then. Jessica came home on July 6th. YAY!!!! Sweet is here which I haven't seen in a few years. She spent the night last night. Her mom was there when I was born, so yea... We have known each other for a long time!!! In a few weeks I am going to Tennessee. :D I am excited about that! Btw, my Spanish class ended June 29th. I am in 2 education classes right now. They end technically Aug 5th, but I will have already done everything by July 27th. I should be leaving for TN on July 27th. Right now I have an A in both classes which is awesome!!! Anyway, I am getting back to my busy life, I hope I will have time to post again soon!

Well I am now officially done with my American History class. :D I took the final this morning, spent all day yesterday typing the last paper for that class and writing my discussion post. On Wednesday my two teaching classes officially start, however I have already begun doing the homework. I was hoping to be able to buy my text books today, but that didn't happen.. oh well! The book store is now closed on Fridays because of it being summer. :/ I wish i had known that I would have went an bought my books yesterday, now I have to wait till Monday to get them. :( I can't finish some of the homework that's due a week from Monday because of not having the text books. So much for trying to get ahead. I already despise my technology education class. Too much work for my liking in a 6 week period lol! but, I have to have it for my degree.
I cant wait till Aug 5th when I have 2 weeks off from school (the closest I get to summer break).

On the 29th I have my Spanish final, so that class will be over. I have so much to do for my other two classes so its a good thing, although I will miss my Spanish class.

Tomorrow I am baby sitting from 9am- Sunday. Its going to be a long day!! Also, Tomorrow is Arielle's B-day party.

Anyway, I am on skype with Mikel, so I am going to stop writing.

Ok so, I just took my Spanish test... I think it went ok.... I have a paper due tomorrow, and my final on Friday... I start my other two classes on wed... AAAHHH!

I am working tomorrow, Fri, and sat... Arielle's b-day party is sat! cant wait!! She turned 4 on the 9th.. She is getting to big...

I miss them already!

So, i have been busy, its now Saturday. lol! I am working on my last paper for my history class. I got a 89% on the last one i did so this one i need like a 94% on just so that I don't have to be so worried about the final.. lol!

Carrie's grad was awesome!!! So many people came! I had a lot of fun at it. Carrie instead of wearing a normal cap wore one from Disney with mouse ears lol! She skipped down the asile instead of walking down it.. It was so totally Carrie!!! lol!

My sisters both left early this morning. Carrie, I wont see again until sometime in December, Jess however comes back in 3 weeks. I am going to miss the both a whole lot!!! I woke up this morning and was like wow! the house is empty. :( Carrie I will only see a couple more times before I move to AZ. That's really weird and kinda scary for me... I mean she has been up in TN a whole lot, but she wasn't moving permanently until she left this morning.

It kind of stinks that I wont be here to see my little brothers grow up. Andrew is turns 10 in 10 days, Josh turns 12 on Aug 26th. Josh is going to become a teenager before I will get to see him again; once I live in AZ. and my short little baby Andrew will probably get taller, maybe even taller than me... I am going to miss them lots!!!

Jess turns 16 in April of next year. She is growing up so fast, next thing I know, it will be her planning a wedding and all that. I am going to miss being here and laying next to her on the bed as she tells me all about whomever, and all about whatever happened that day. We will just have to talk on the phone a lot I guess..... but that is still not the same.

I wont get to be here anymore and spend time with my parents. My mommy will be too far away to come and see her... My daddy as well. It takes 9hrs by plane to get here from AZ (at least that's what I understood from Mikel). I miss them all already.. :(

I am going to be far away from all of my friends as well, I wont get to be here when some of them graduate or be here when they finally find that guy. I wont get to be here for Arielle's first day of kindergarten. :( I am going to miss everything because I will be so far away. Everyone that has become so dear to me will be far far away! I just hope they write me via, facebook, email, snail mail or call me, whatever so at least I kinda know whats going on.

I miss everyone already, and I have not even left, nor will I for 356days.. oh well..
