Going Home

On Monday we leave for FL. I cannot wait to see all my friends and family again!! I miss everyone in FL so much!!! It feels like I have been gone from FL for years when it has only been 7 months! I know we have only been married for just over 7 months, but it seems like so much longer! When I go home, I take my 3 teacher certification exams. I pray that I pass them all the first time! I have been studying... There is nothing more I can do to prepare myself for the test!

Today my goals are to clean our home and finish packing. I am one of those people who likes to pack way early. LOL!

I am trying to get the whole house cleaned and deep cleaned before we leave. You see, when we come back we will only have 3 weeks till we move into our new home on base. We are getting a nice house with a large backyard! I cannot wait for the backyard for my puppies!

1. What are three words you would use to describe your 2011?

Amazing, sad, exciting

2. Do you like shrimp? What's your favorite way to have it prepared?

I like shrimp in sushi, fried, and cooked and served over Alfredo.

3. Is your house de-Christmased? If so when did you tackle that job? If not, when will the decorations come down?

our home is not yet de-Christmased; however, I an currently working on it. My goal was to do that during New Years, but we went to the Grand Canyon, so that messed that idea up. This is my first Christmas away from family so everything has been different.

4. Do you like to watch scary movies?

nope, never have.

5. ice skating~sledding~skiing~snowboarding~of the four listed which wintertime activity do you most enjoy?

sledding and ice skating. For a FL girl however, that rarely happens.

6. Did you have a childhood hideout? Describe it.

I did not have a special hide out. However, whenever I was upset, I would go outside and swing. I was very upset last year when the swing broke! I liked to go outside and talk to my Jesus there.

7. What's a place or space that motivates you?

hmmmm.... One that motivates me? I guess that would be the places we went, when I went on my 4 missions trips to Mexico. They motivated me by showing me how people with so little could be content and just love Jesus. Christians in Mexico are persecuted if they are not in the Catholic church. We are so lucky to live in a country where we are free!

Sorry this post is a little late! I am having computer issues. We have two laptops and only one charger that works, so if I don't post before the hubby gets home, using the comp is a pain (because he is a computer hog)... :( currently, I am writing this post on my phone. So sorry its not all nice with pics and different colored fonts. I will try to fix that later. :) hope you had a great Wednesday!!!!! I updated the post. :)
