A to Z: K is for King of Kings

K is for King of Kings

Jesus is also known as the King of Kings,

(1 Timothy 6:13-16 ESV) I charge you in the presence of God, who gives life to all things, and of Christ Jesus, who in his testimony before Pontius Pilate made the good confession, to keep the commandment unstained and free from reproach until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ, which he will display at the proper time—he who is the blessed and only Sovereign, the King of kings and Lord of lords, who alone has immortality, who dwells in unapproachable light, whom no one has ever seen or can see. To him be honor and eternal dominion. Amen.

Jesus is not only the King of kings, but he is also the Lord of lords.
The King of Ages:
(1 Timothy 1:17 ESV)To the King of the ages, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen.

The King of Israel:
(Zechariah 9:9 ESV) Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion! Shout aloud, O daughter of Jerusalem!Behold, your king is coming to you; righteous and having salvation is he humble and mounted on a donkey, on a colt, the foal of a donkey.

The King of the Jews:

(Matthew 2:1-2 ESV) Now after Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea in the days of Herod the king, behold, wise men from the east came to Jerusalem, saying, “Where is he who has been born king of the Jews? For we saw his star when it rose and have come to worship him.”

The King of Nations:
(Revelation 15:3 ESV) And they sing the song of Moses, the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying,“Great and amazing are your deeds,O Lord God the Almighty Just and true are your ways,O King of the nations!

Think about what you just read.... Jesus is the king over all kings, nations and even the ages... WOW!

Today:
1. Look it up for yourself about Jesus being the King.
2. Pray About it!
3. Meditate on it throughout the day.
