So the other day I posted all about things that were supposed to happen yesterday. So now I am going to tell you what actually did happen yesterday. LOL!
I woke up at 5:30am when I didn't have to be up till 7am. I went to Heart Link, which ended up being great. I learned a great deal about the Air Force and if you are reading this and are an Air Force spouse and never been to a Heart Link meeting I strongly suggest going whether you have been an AF spouse for 1 or 21 years. We had women in there who had been AF spouses for 18-25 years and they learned things they didn't know. It was very cool, they fed us a great breakfast, lunch and provided lots of drinks and snacks for everyone. They also had all different people come and talk to us. The Commander and Chief came and talked to us and that was cool. When they did that I found out that the Chief's wife was sitting next to me (and she was a newlywed) we also found out that the other Commander's wife was in there with us too taking part in heart link and trying to learn more about the USAF. We also had people from all of the different agencies and clubs come. The taught us about protocol, how to tell different ranking based upon strips and more. It was great! I am thinking about joining the enlisted spouses club it sounds really awesome and like a great opportunity for me to meet more people.
After Heart Link, I came home payed the rent (a good thing to do, since it was due) and then waited for Mikel to come home. Once Mikel came home we went shopping and got all the groceries we need for the next few weeks. :) After that we came home put up the cold stuff and then went to a football game. (Did I do my science experiment? No! Did I call my grandparents? No! Did I post a pic on here? No!)
My monkey T-shirt
The AZ Cardinals vs. the Denver Broncos. That was my first football game ever. The whole time I was having to ask what was going on because what it looked like to me was a bunch of guys running around in circles and trying to catch a ball lol! One cool thing is that I got to watch Tim Tebow play (the only football player I know by name). Which I thought was awesome since he was once a FL gator and he claims to be a Christian. :) By the end of the 2nd quarter I was kind of bored. So I started going a lil crazy taking pictures.
LOL! I took 150 pics. So I added a few of them on here. Do not ask me what is happening in them because I have no idea! LOL!
By the time we got home it was almost midnight so we crashed. Mikel woke up for work late today which wasn't the greatest thing but he went to work and didn't get into trouble that we know of. :) Cocoa hated yesterday because she is was in the cage most of the day we were only home for 2hrs of the day. So now she is acting all crazy and running around in circle and Midnight is attacking her as well. I did finish my science experiment today and did all the homework associated with it and turned it in. :) I feel very tired right now so I am thinking about taking a nap... But, I need to clean the apartment which I really haven't done all week. :/ (So its pretty bad.) IDK what will happen. Mikel and I may go to wet and wild tomorrow. Its free for military and only $20 for dependents tomorrow only, so we are really considering it. :)
Anyway, thats all for now!

Randomness About Tomorrow..
I should be sleeping, but for some reason im not.. I have to be up in a few hours for heart link; Something the Air Force has for new military spouses... I don't really know what to expect, other than that I will be there all day from 8am-2pm... So that will take up a lot of my day and homework time... Oh well, hopefully ill learn something and maybe ill make a new friend or something... Like I said I don't know what to expect... At least they are going to feed me so I won't starve lol!
I'll be twenty two in a week aka sep 7th... I got my first birthday present today which was a monkey t-shirt from my grandparents. :) I really like it and I think my grandma made it. I'm going to ask her tomorrow when I call and thank her for it. I will try to remember to put a picture on here of it tomorrow.
Sometime tomorrow I get to do a science experiment for my teaching science class. I am kind of excited about that. :) I would have done it today but I don't have corn oil or corn syrup nor rubbing alcohol; so, I have to go shopping for those things in order to do it.. I have to write about it for my class and thats due on friday. The shopping will happen after heart link...
After writing about all these things that will hopefully happen tomorrow I am reminded of a verse:
Matthew 6:34 ESV
"Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.
Anyway, I am going to read my bible until I fall asleep. Night!

Wednesday Hodgepodge
1. Do you think the world became a more dangerous place on September 11, 2001 or did we just become more aware of the danger? How has your own life changed as a result of that day?
I believe we just became more aware of the danger. To be honest, my life hasn’t changed that much since then. I was one of the lucky ones who didn’t know anyone who died or was injured that day, plus I was only 12 when in happened. I do remember gas prices going crazy and ever since then they have continued to be crazy.
2. Did you think your parents were too strict when you were growing up? How about in hindsight?
I don’t think my parents were too strict in fact they were less strict than other parents, but I think that’s because they could trust us because they raised us to be honest. I was one of the few who didn’t have to call home every time I changed places, I just called and told my mom or dad I was hanging with whomever and then I would usually call when I was on the way home. I would sometimes text if I had been gone for a long time just so that they didn’t worry.
They are less strict with my brothers and lil sister than they were with me and Carrie. It’s kind of weird because I think, “If I had done that I would be in pretty big trouble right now” but it’s probably mostly the difference between boy and girl.
3. Share one random but candid fact about yourself.
I LOVE Monkeys!!! I have over 40 stuffed monkeys.
4. Would your nearest and dearest describe you as simple or far too complicated?
Probably complicated.
5. What is your favorite stadium or carnival food?
Funnel Cakes rule!!!
6. Tornado, hurricane, earthquake...how many of these natural disasters have you experienced? Which event do you think would be the scariest?
I have experienced many hurricanes I’m not sure the exact number since I lived in FL for 21 years but you get the idea. I was there the year that 5 hit the state… So yea. Hurricanes don’t really scare me. I love having a hurricane party!
I am not sure which scares me worse, a tornado or an earthquake. I’ve never experienced either one. :/
7. Labor Day weekend is approaching so a work related question seems appropriate. Growing up, did your parents assign you regular chores? Were you paid for doing those chores? If you're a parent do you assign chores to your own children? Why or why not?
My parents assigned me regular chores. It depended on the year whether we got paid because my parents did not always have the money. Sometimes the reward was going to dollar tree and picking something out after a month of chores. Sometimes it was just doing them because we were told to.
I don’t have any children right now.
8. Insert your own random thought here.
Sometimes, I think we spoil our pets a lil too much! LOL!
They were both sleeping when I tried to take the picture. LOL!

No Field Expereince Today
So today I was supposed to have my first field experience. Notice the key word SUPPOSED. Well, I woke up early got dressed, reviewed my handbook and orientation. Got everything ready to go, put Cocoa in her cage then went to grab my purse and walk out the door and that's when it hit me. MY PURSE WAS IN MIKEL'S CAR!!! I texted him immediately and waited a few checked the house to make sure my keys weren't somewhere in here. Then finally, I called the school to tell them that I couldn't come. (Way to make a first impression. :( ) Mikel called me right after I canceled... Which was just awesome because I had already canceled. I started crying... I still feel horrible.. :( So thought I would blog about it... :( Anyway, no field experience today to write about or enjoy.... :( I guess I have extra time to clean and do homework.

Mikel is the bestest!!!
Last night, Mikel came home a little late. I was wondering why he hadn't got off work yet and what was taking him so long... Then I heard a knock at the door. I opened it and there he was standing there with 18 pink roses. I was so surprised. He is the best husband in the whole world!!!! I love him so much!!!

Cooking: Lasagna :)
Tonight, I decided to make Lasagna for dinner. It was my first time making it. I asked my mom for the ingredients and then just winged it. It think it turned out great. I couldn't get it to come out of the pan looking all great, but boy did it taste good!!! My husband said it tasted great as well. :) The only problems is that I made WAY too much lasagna for two people. LOL!
Ingredients: I forgot to include the spices and crushed tomatoes in the picture.

~Random~-school, plants, etc.
School:
I am getting used to school again. I think I might finally have everything set up and understand everything. Guess what? The teacher I was complaining about yesterday, who didn't have a schedule, well, she sent an email saying that a schedule would be posted tomorrow. YAY!! :-) I start field experience on Tuesday. I will be going to field experience every Tuesday and Thursday for the next 12 weeks. I am really excited about that! I will be working with a special ed teacher. I am going to write on here next Tuesday about my field experience, leaving out names of course.
Plants:
In June I planted pepper plant seeds. This is what they look like now:
I now need to transplant them into a bigger pot. So I will be working on that soon. :-D I cant wait to have bell peppers that I grew on my own. :-) I also have planted potatoes... I am not sure how that is going. So far no green. :( But it takes a little while.
Pets:
Midnight injured his leg or hip and is limping around the house. :-( He's pitiful! Cocoa is being her usual crazy self! She keeps on whining at the door because she likes to be outside, but it is 113 degrees out there. I only take her out when I have to.
Mikel:
Mikel's back isn't doing too good. They are doing electric shock therapy and he comes home in a lot of pain. The past few mornings he has woken up in a lot of pain. :-( Sunday we had to leave church early due to his back pain. He applies for the new job on 25th. :-) They have 6 weeks to tell us if he got it and if he did we were told we will probably be moving in 6 months. Which could be a good thing or a bad thing... depending on where we move to. I am really hoping in the end we will be stationed in FL.
Reading:
I am reading a chapter in proverbs everyday.
I just finished reading "Emmanuel's Veins" by Ted Dekker. I really liked the book! If i have time this semester I am going to read another Ted Dekker book called "Burn".
